Meet One Of Our Mentors
Dr. Olawale, DNP
Dr. Olawale earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of South Alabama, as well as a Master’s in Nursing Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Morgan State University. He is proudly ANCC board-certified.
Dr. Olawale is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience serving individuals from childhood through late adulthood. Licensed in Connecticut, New York, and Maryland, his extensive background includes work in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, emergency departments, consult-liaison services, outpatient clinics, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams, psychiatric rehabilitation programs (PRP), substance use treatment centers, and virtual telepsychiatry care.
With a foundation in both medical-surgical and psychiatric nursing, Dr. Olawale brings a uniquely integrative approach to mental health. His clinical expertise is matched by a profound dedication to teaching and mentorship—having served as adjunct faculty and preceptor for future psychiatric providers at institutions such as Johns Hopkins University, Towson University, University of Maryland, Chamberlain University, Walden University, and others.
